Default what camera is better?


I want to buy a camera that has a good image quality. After a lot to look keeps these: minolta s414, olimpus 4000, olimpus 4040. Are good cameras? Do they have good image?¿what image quality is the best? and the second?

I can speak for the Oly 4000 and 4040. I own the 4040 and have shot many pics with a friends 4000. Both cameras provide excellent quality pics. I prefer the 4040 because it has a F1.8 lens & movie with sound. The lens will provide you with better low light photo results. The 4000 has a super macro mode which will provide excellent close pic opportunties.

All depends on what you want to shoot...some people want a longer zoom so they go for one of the Olympus C-7x0 cameras (700/730/740/750 coming soon). The problem with the C-7x0's is they not as good for low light photography (you need a minimum amount for the camera to focus due to only having a F2.8 lens).

I agree with gibson, the oly c4040 is a great camera. The only drawback is sm memory, but it is cheap so you can get a ton of it.
