Make it simple. Get the Canon i960--you won't be disappointed, and at $199, it's a bargain.

I purchased the Canon i960 and it is one great printer. You can read Steve's review. I purchased from www.newegg.com for $178 with free shipping and a $30 rebate from Canon.

Another vote here for the i960. I dont think there is a another printer on the market that can touch it for the money.

:homey: The Canon owners are right. I`ve got the i9950 A3+ version in the UK but the A4 i960 is very similar except that it has 7 tanks not 8. The images I get and those from a friend with the i960 are mind blowing. Don`t think twice -Gofor it.

If You are going to want great photographs You should look at the epson 1280. Just great with premium glosy photo paper. I use My HP 1120C printer for all of My text and the 1280 for quality photographs that do not fade away.

The Epson 2200 with pigmented ink is fade resistant, but the 1280 uses dye based ink. From what limited tests I've seen the Epson dye based printers claim the same ultra long life as the Canons, and fade about the same in a few years exposed to light.
