WWII present day pictures

Very much worth the time to look at. He took old WWII pictures and photoshoped them over present day pictures. Very, very cool idea, great execution.

Very clever.

Ya that was pretty slick. Wish I had some old photos of Toronto. That would be fun to find the places to take the shots from and Im sure I could do a better job of blending them into the present day shot.

Very thought provoking. He's done a good job of matching features, I can imagine how much work that can be to get right - different perspectives and so on. So his pictures are not only thought provoking from a content point of view but also excellent from a technical point of view.

Very nice!

Are there more? Image in 20 years, when computers can take all these huge amounts of pictures taken today and do the same with the pictures taken in 20 years!

I think it's a very interesting idea with very poor execution. The idea is facinating, but the older shots look like they were just slapped in. A seamless insertion would make the pictures far more compelling. This should be a head turning experience, not a how did he miss that jumble.
