I have 3 minolta's (film) and a fuji 602z with all the extras, but nowadays I use a panasonic FZ50, and a Panasonic F3 just for its wide angle lens. I have no desire to carry loads of gear, it stifles my picture taking opportunitys. I also see no need to invest in a DSLR, or to shoot RAW. To me photography is a very satisfying hobby, that can occasionally bring in a little cash for a super shot. Enjoy your shooting.

Have you had any camera equipment destroyed in the past, due to conditions ? If so could you go into further detail ? Your photographic life sounds a lot more exciting than mine. Thanks, ![]() |

I have quite a few cameras- the list of which can change almost every other week...lol.
However, the only one that "ain't going nowhere" is my trusty old Canon 20D with a Tamron 18-270 VR lens attached... ![]() |

Own:
Canon 5DMkII 50mm f1.4 24-105 f4 IS L 70-300 f4.5-5.6 DO IS Zeiss Ikon ZM Zeiss 50mm f2 Planar VC 28mm f3.5 Fuji X100 Since I got the Fuji I have hardly used anything else though. The only that stops me from selling all the other gear is the hope that Canon might bring out a new EF 35mm f2 lens sometime soon. The Fuji is almost my perfect camera. |

What can I say, I like toys. I didn't list the 5 studio lights, various backgrounds, gels etc thought that might be a little over the top
