Default RepariTech Warranty

I just found out that I could still purchase a "RepairTech" warranty for my S602 till 6 mo.'s after purchase of my camera. I'm at 5.5 months now. Anybody had any personal dealings w/ a RepairTech warranty? I'm thinking about doing it because I've had to have my camera repaired already. Makes me a little gun shy. And I read about the dust on the CCD issue. Any fead back on the repairtech warranty would be appreciated.

I suggest you check the camera's manufacturer to see if they have an extended warranty available. I don't know what brand an S602 is, but I know Olympus offers a 2 year warranty for owners of their cameras, and it includes free shipping, free checkup and cleaning.

I am with Mike, I would rather have an extended warranty with mfg. I am very leary of others.

I would rather have a manufacturers warranty as well, but I had to purchase w/ in 30 days of purchasing the camera. That's why I'm posting about the repairTech. I'm leary as well......

Default Extended Support Plan w/ Fuji

I found that if you register your camera at the Fuji Web site, at the end of the registration, they offer an Extended Support Plan - $89 for 3 year "support plan". At the end of the support plan, the website indicated that you would have an opportunity to extend even futher at the end of the 3 year plan. Wanted to post for those with the same question.
