Default EXIF data: ISO ??

When I look at the EXIF data for an image in my camera (D100), it shows the ISO value. However, once the image is downloaded to the computer, the ISO info does not display in the EXIF data; I have tried Photoshop and two other image processor programs, and the ISO is not there.

Why is it that the ISO value is not available in the EXIF data? Or perhaps it is there, and I need some other program to view it?

Is it there when you use the software that came with the camera?

There are standards on EXIF data, but some cameras put extra data in there... and therefor not all programs can display all the data.

The best free progs are EXIFER and EXIFread. Search Google for the links. EXIFread gives reams of data. I'd be surprised if the ISO data is not there. VOX

thanks for the replies..

do you know if either of these programs permit me to batch modify some of the exif fields? For example, I would like to batch modify the copyright data on all my pictures.
