Default Fairly compact Digicam that allows adding polarizer

Any suggestions for a Digicam..More compact than CanonG2,3 that allows for addition of polarizing filter..While we're at it ,at least 3MP and 3x optical zoom

Any camera can use a polarizer. Even though its lens has no filter thread, we can hand-hold a PL in front of the lens. Take a look at my Nikon Coolpix 2500 user guide. The Nikon Coolpix 2500 does not have a lens thread! Or, Colkin has a filter mounting system for those cameras that do not have lens thread. It looks like the following:

What about the a70? it's smaller than the g2/3 and can take add-on lenses. It's 3mp, has 3x zoom, compact flash, aa, af assist and has many more features
