I'm having an unusual problem with my new Internet Explorer 7. Whenever I open the "Recent" page here at Steve's forums it doesn't refresh but gives an old cached version. Through version 6 there was a box to check under Tools > Internet Options > Advanced to always use a refreshed page. I see no setting for that on IE 7.

Anyone have any ideas how to get all pages to automatically refresh in IE7? So far I have encountered the problem only in Recent at Steve's.

Hi slipe,

Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Browsing History -> Settings then check "Everytime I visit the Webpage".

Good Luck!

Thanks Jim. That is probably where I set it before but it has been a while since I had to set it. It probably isn't IE7 but the new computer that caused it to be on "Automatically". Memory gets foggy with age.

It still isn't working on Steve's forums. Most forums and other sites refresh when I go back to the index page but Steve's doesn't. Must be the way the site is set up.
