Default Nikon Coolpix 4500 Compact Flash compatibility

Just wondering if anyone has experience with either the SANDISK or Lexar 512 MB CF cards. They are not on Nikon's approved cards and I was wondering if they are compatible before I buy.

Any help of suggestions would be welcomed.

Thanks

Sandisk's site lists that it is compatible with nikon and on lexars site there is a guarantee that their compact flash cards are compatible with digital cameras using compact flash.

I use a cp4500 daily for my review product shots and I have used a multitude of CF cards in it with no problems whatsoever. Brands known by me to work include: SanDisk, Lexar, Delkin, Ridata and Transcend. Over the years I have only seen just a few problems with incompatible CF cards, mostly SimpleTech cards. The CF card standard is very well supported and the vast majority of CF cards maker's product are compatible with any camera that uses CF cards.
