Switzerland next week and I was wondering if I will havea problem carrying on board my camera gear, Lowepro Minitrekkerbackpack no tripod. I've traveled recently within the US with no problems but I haven't flown out of the US with my gear. Thanks!

I travel to and from Asia on a regular basis and carry my gear in a lowepro mini-trecker backpack. I always take it as my carryon baggage. Never had a problem.

Unless you are flying on a very old aircraft that has not been recently refurbished, or on a small commuter aircraft, the mini-trecker easily fits inside the overhead bin. The only exception I have found, is if you really have it packed very full, it may not fit in the overhead bins upstairs on a 747.
