Hello Guys, just wondering if you guy could recommend any info on any sites to help me with photograpy, even though i only own a p&S (s3 is). I take lots of pictures but 1/10 is actually clear and good, hoping to bump that up, so any sites helping understand ISO, different shooting modes and setings.. etc
and yes im still reading the users manual:G

Not exactly what you wanted, but I recommend the library. Books are a great thing because you can take them with you in the field - it's much more of a pain to take a laptop. Even books that are based on film photography are still valid.

I agree with John: look in your local library and don't worry if the book deals with chemical photography instead of digital.

While reading, spend time looking at your failures and figure out why they failed. Was it shake? Bad exposure settings? Composition? Camera/editing settings such as sharpness, contrast, saturation, ...? Could the problem be fixed with editing? High ISO noise? ...?

Keep shooting, reading, and thinking about what you are doing.

Reading is a great way to learn but so is sharing your work with other (potentially more experienced people) in here to give advice to settings, composition, technique etc and you will be amazed how well you can improve.
