Cheers for all the help guys.

Now, there must be about 100 different point&shoot camera's with IS. Can any of you help me narrow down my options? Any recommendations would be great. Remember, i am looking for an "ultra compact" camera, so i can put it in the pocket of my jeans. I can spend about £220.. roughly about $430

Actually, this might be a good time to start a new topic.

I didn't mean that you shouldn't ask your question. I just meant that this topic was started with a question on image stabilization, and people interested in that topic contributed.

Now you've got a different question: Which Ultra-Compact Digicam with IS for $430? I think you should post it in a new topic so that others who might not have been interested in the original topic might be inclined to contribute to the new one. A lot of people that contributed to this topic are dSLR users, and might not have much to say about Ultra-Compacts, so starting a new topic on IS Ultra-Compacts might attract some new posters.
