Sorry about the double post (now triple). Not sure what I did to cause that. I only remember submitting once.

UrbanPhotos, you squeezed into a short time window. I think I know what I did. I clicked the back button after submitting and then refreshed, which resubmitted, but that isn't obvious when you're doing it. A mental note for next time.

I would like something with a body similar to the coming D2h (except with a titanium alloy chassi), 10 megapixels, 8fps with a burst depth of 40 or so, (seems familiar to the D2h huh?), noise-free ISO 6400, infrared capture mode (some kind of internal function of the sensor to become sensitive to infrared only), some mechanism that prevents dust from entering the body when changing lenses, very fast as in 20MB/s sustained write speed to CF, built-in secondary CF port for WiFi standard devices (3rd party compatible, internal antenna and external antenna port on camera body), someone already mentioned true 48-bit color support and wider dynamic range, and I wouldn't mind paying $2K for such marvel :-)

I'll take the best features from all of the above posts....only make mine with a 16mm - 400mm equivalent Zoom Lens, with an F1.2 - F16 Aperture range available throughout the Lens Zoom Range, in a camera the size of my Konica KD-510z (able to fit in my pocket) -- and I'd prefer high speed wireless internet built into it too, for transfering my photos from anywhere.

Don't wake me up -- I like this dream!

my dream camera would be a dslr

1. with interchangeable ability that have no worries about dust in the sensor
2. 30mega pixel or greater(full frame sensor)
3. tight constructions as the nikon d1 and canon 1d series but lighter...maybe use highstrength composites
4. better battery then the existing nikon battery
5. 10frames/sec up 20 max shots

i could go on...but that ok for now...dream!!!

i would pay $5000 for it
