Expose a camera sensor for a few seconds to the air

in a room and dust in the air is attracted to the sensor

by static charges.Seen here with the SensorScope.

I now use an air ionizer and air conditioner with air filter

to clean the air in a room for a few hours first, before

exposing the sensor to it, this way there is minimum dust

in the air to jump onto the sensor when it gets exposed for cleaning :-).......musket.

P.S If the sensor is ok then the lense might need to be overhauled to clean

any internal dirt, grease, bacteria or fungal growth that might cause this problem.
