thank you all for your answers. I know the camera writes the data. the question I meant to ask was what is the best way to see it? In picasa, for example' you get very little data, when seeing photos on flickr you see a lot more. how can I see maximum information on my pc?

Probably the best way is to use the application from the camera manufacturer.

If you download the photo's from your camera to your PC,

before editing each of the pics, export the iexif ofthe photo

to the desktop with free
Iexif editing software likePhotoMe

http://www.photome.de/

then re-atache the iexif by importing it from the desktop

and saving it on the photo after you've edited it, once

again withPhotoMe. You can also edit the iexif, adding

extra info as you choose withPhotoMe, as well as setting

the options in it to work of right mouse click, to read the

iexifs of photo's displayed in the Forums ............................:|............musket.
