I have a business trip to Japan coming up in April and will be spending a few days in the Kyoto/Osaka area. I've been wondering whether it would be worth sourcing a lens for my Nikon D80 while I'm there. I have in mind a Sigma 10-20mm but can't seem to find a huge amount of informationwhether it is likely to be any cheaper there than in the UK/EU.

Most searches I've done come up with information on comparative prices between the US and Japan but very little from a European perspective. This might indicate that prices are pretty much comparable or simply that I've been putting the wrong search parameters into Google.

BTW I appreciate that there are warrantyissues with equipment bought outside the area of domicile but if there's a significant price advantage that does put things in a more attractive light.
