Default What resolution?

Is it my best bet to take all my photos at the highest resolution (1600x1200 in this case)? I intend to print 99% of them (rather I intend to have them proffesionally printed) at the standard 4x6. DO I need 1600x1200?

Default Resolution?

Be your own judge. Take some shots of the same subject and compare? It has also been my experience with long telephoto shots it often improves the quality to reduce the resolution. There are a lot of varitables with digital photography using them is part of the fun.

If you have a good editor like Photoshop or something less intense and can spare the space on your camera/computer storage I would say go with the highest resolution possible.

It is far better to take a large pic and edit it down to a smaller version using a editing program vs. taking a lower resolution program and blowing it up to a larger version.
