I am aware (from this web site) that on the above mentioned Canon cameras that you can get/buy an adapter to allow one to use a 1.5 to 2 converter magnifier that can simply be screwed into the housing and then add the magnifier lens.

Is this feature available on any other "Super-Zoom" Camera?

All of them. Some, but not all, will also take a wide-angle auxilary lens.

Wow, I didn't know that. I never hear of other guys with something like a Panasonic SF18 using a tele doubler magnifer.
Thank you.

Note, I said it could be done, not that it should be done. In my opinion the 15-20x zooms have made enough compromises on there image quality at the long end of their focal length range that they really shouldn't be compromised further with an auxilary telephoto lens. 10x-12x OK. If you do a search in the Sony forum about last July on airshow pictures you'll see a thread where an H9 was used andat least some were done with a 1.7x lens

Thanks AC. I'll do the search you suggested.
