I have just recently went to a large concert and have several nice pictures. Can I sell them? Where?

Almost certainly not.

And almost certainly not if they're of Willie Nelson.

Bigger stars have restrictions on their image, and a mountain of lawyers to enforce those restrictions. You can give them away, but you can almost certainly not charge for them.

I think I can sell them for editorial use is that right? Or is that only with sports?

I knew I could give them away as I have in the past.

This is why most artists (and many professional sportsstadiums/clubs)won't let anyone bring photographic equipment of any kind in to concerts anymore, ruining the fun for those of us who like to take pictures for our own enjoyment.

You can absolutely sell them...if you can get Willie to sign a release form. Getting the picture is the easy part. Getting Willie to sign a release form...next to impossible.

Some Stock photography sites do allow the sale of editorial images (no releases necessary), but you certainly won't get rich selling your photos this way.

I think I will just keep them for myself and give a few away to a few friends that were there. I just enjoyed taking them.
