Hello,

After I do as much as I can for searching answer. Finially the following items I would like to get for my Nikon d40 with kit len and 55-200mmVR. But hope I can get some input for here. Is this o.k or I need some adj.

For Filter : I go for B+W (look at hayo too. but review say lens is hard to clean and can't use water, it might washout the coating...Humm)

1). 52 mm Circular Polariser (mc) coat $ 79.95

* (mc) don't know how many coat of protection. Sound like single coat.

MRC they ask for $ 95.00

2). 52mm #103 (ND) 0.9 (3 stops) $ 36.95

Should I go for 1.8 (6 stops) ? $ 36.95

3). 52mm uv haze 010 glass filter ( for len protection)

$ 19.95 for no coating, 29.95 with Multi-resistant coating

4). 52mm Granuated ND 0.9 filter $ 46.00

5). For Flash : SB-600

looking at SB-400 before. But for long run SB-600 will be better.

Thanks !

wow those prices are amazing !!!

i have similar filters and they are not branded but

circular polariser cost me £3.99 hama would have been £11.49 hoya would have been £13.39

nd4 filter £3.49 there wasnt any alternative to this one

uv filter £2.99, hama £6.49 and hoya £9.99

graduated filter £4.49

just double them prices for equivalent price in dollars, im sure you can get them much cheaper than that in USA as things are normaly cheaper over your side of the pond

I can get the same item much cheaper if I go for some cheaper brand. Will save me at least by 40% or more. B+W are not cheap. But some other filter are even more $$$.

I am in Canada. If I purchase the same items here in town wil totally cost me $ 180 more.

That's Sad isn't it.
