Can someone recommend a good weather protector, I bought one by Kata with the extension but it is useless and inpractical, because If I was to use it with my 28-300USM I fail to see how you could use a monopod/tripod on thelens bush.

I could not adapt it and if I did I do not see howI could manouvermy handsfor all the controls as it seens so tight.

While watching theeuro08 football tournamentI seen some rain protectors that the photographers use and they look so spacious, making it eassierto use controles

Might they have been using plastic trash bags?

hmm - that's strange. I use my kata with a monopod. but if you really dislike it, the next step up the food chain is Aquatech - but you're looking at $200 there. I don't care for cheap plastic products on the market. Food storage bags (garbage bags not so good because you can't see through them) can be OK for a pinch. But if you're spending a lot of time in foul weather, the aquatechs are definitely the way to go.

I use a Canon28-300 usm L serieslens, and attach a monopod/tripod to the bush on the lens. Can someone post pictures of the weather protector set up with monopod and tripod attached to lens and camera demonhstrating how easy the one made by kata is to use
