I have a vivitar 80-200mm MC lens that I use on my minolta 35mm. I have recently purchased a Pentax K100D DSLR, can I get an adapter so I can use the vivitar on my pentax ?.................Jangut:?

First, Minolta had the shortest distance from the lens mount to the film plane of any SLR, so any Minolta lens on any other body would not be able to focus to infinity.

Second, many Vivitar lenses of that era used a T4/TXinterchangable lens mount so the lens could be stocked by a retailer and paired with any camera when used with an appropriate mount. If your lens is one of them, then you should be able to remove the Minolta mount and replace it with a Pentax mount.
