Checkout the guys that fly model helis with their cams. You do need a cam with a wired connection, at least for the shutter - although some hacks have added a solenoid to the shutter button, add live video preview and zoom control and things get complicated to do wireless wise.

Look at 430Mhz garage door openers for simple control of shutter only or wireless CCTV. Most cams have composite video out which could be fed to a modulator. I assume you're happy to recover the pics afterwards from the card - the vehicle isn't a Moon Rover is it?, but electronic control of shutter on cheaper cams is not that common. Most cams with auto shut off can be set for continuous power. Mine does this anyway when powered from the external jack. VOX

Dear VOX;

Yes I will use a wired connection, both for shutter and live video preview. The vehicle is tethered. Nothing like a Lunar mission... :mrgreen:
I need high quality images with 3 or more megapixel.
Thank you.
