On 3/30, Steves-Digicams Forums will be migrating to new servers at Internet Brands. Steves-digicams Forums will be housed in a new Datacenter with added redundancy and stability to its current platform. During this migration we have a planned outage of three hours beginning at 10AM PST. During that time, visitors to Steves-Digicams Forums will see an "In the Shop" page. Once the migration is complete the homepage will be restored.

Upon restoration some users may experience problems due to DNS caching. Globally problems may occur up to 48 hours. However, the issue may resolve faster depending on how quickly a users ISP refreshes their DNS.

It is important to note certain routine problems may arise post-migration (for example, difficulty uploading certain files, slowness in parts of the site). Unfortunately we will not be able to identify these issues before the migration is complete. If you experience any change in behavior from the site please report them in the "Contact Steve's" section, in the thread "Post Migration Tech Reporting".

You can also PM IB-Communityor email [email protected] with post-migration issues.

Thank you for your patience through this process and we look forward to serving you in the years to come.

Will there be a new website address involved with this move and if so please post so those of us that have this address logged in our favorites list can find the new location of the site.

Thanks

The site addresses ( http://www.steves-digicams.com or http://forums.steves-digicams.com ) shouldn't change, so your bookmarks should be fine. But, the IP Addresses associated with Steve's will change. So, it may take a while before all DNS servers are fully updated to direct you to the new servers' IP addresses.

Just a reminder, Only the forums will be down. The Main site will still be up and running.
