Default What price for that ?

Hi,

I'm sorry if I am in the wrong forum. Don't hesitate to move it if required.

I would like to buy a digital camera after selling my traditional one.
I don't want to sell it here, this post is not an ad, but I would like your help on setting the price I could get from this sell (I have no idea at all of the prices for my items on the market). Here are the details:

- Camera Minolta Dynax 3xi
- Minolta AF 28-80 4/5.6 (zoom xi)
- Minolta AF 100-300 4.5/5.6 (zoom xi), practically not used, very good state

Could you give me a price for each of these items please ? Thanks a lot.

Not exactly the type of question we get here. You can have your camera evaluated by a camera shop who gives out evaluations (for a fee of course).

Another idea is check on Ebay to see if anyone else has sold similar equipment, and see what it sold for (if it sold). Here's an example of one currently for sale:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=3331

Starting bid is$200 for the following:
body
AF Power Zoom Minolta Lens 0.5m/1.6ft. 49mm 35-80mm 1:4 (22) - 5.6
49mm AF Zoom 70-210mm 1:45 (22) - 5.6 Minolta Zoom Lens
and several other accessories.

Go to ebay, click on search, click on advanced search, and work fron their. The key point is to click the little box that specifies completed autions only. One additional trick is to get the list with the highest prices first. That avoids all the lens caps and other cheap accesories out of the way. (In your case, that isn't really needed since there has only been one Minolta Dynax 3xi sold - for $91.) Look for the lens prices in the same way.
