Default You know stats about digital + film photography?

hello guys,
just want to ask if you know any sites which have statistics about how many people are using digital photography and how many people are using film photography. I am very curious to see something like that.
Thanks

Don't know the numbers, but digital cameras are supposed to out-sell film cameras for the year 2003 once all the statistics are in. It has been an amazing run, especially considering the cost differential btween the two.

Might be an initial cost differential, but all people can see is the nil cost of having pictures processed.

Kodak announced about three-four weeks ago they were laying off a substantial number of people in their film unit, citing falling sales. The reason cited was digital cameras. Also, more and more pros are making the switch because the quality of digital, compared to 35 mm film, is comparable at a comparable cost.

I have a magazine that gives the sales figures of the various film formats over the last year, but unfortunately it's at the house I live in when I'm at uni, and I've come home for the weekend :S
Basically though the sales of every "traditional" photographic medium (35mm negative, slide film, APS film etc) has fallen between about 5 and 25% in the last year (the 25% being APS, I think everything else was no more than 15%).
There was also a pretty substantial rise int he sale of single use cameras (about 40% I think), so not all the fall in film sales is people moving over to digital.
This is just for the UK by the way :S
