I'm another new member and have a second question. I have a Nikon 950 and a Canon Elph and do not find the hoods or covers for LCD viewing are really that good in daylight. I am wondering and asking if the camera makers could make the LCD so it is a remote LCD either cordless or corded. I envision one that may be contained in a hood or box that would/could hang on your belt and be viewed just by tilting your head and eyes downward while taking a picture. Then perhaps it could be re-attached to the main camera body for storage. Whole idea of course is to allow for bright LCD view in daylight. Are not all the present hoods not that successful in viewing in daylight?
Is all this technically feasible?
