Thanks for your reply Toria!
I'm glad you like both, and I think too, that the last one (b/w) is the best for displaying pictures, so I'll go on with that design.
Thanks to all of you for your helpfull comments and suggestions on the design.
I'll let you know, when the website is online again.

I like this design better than any I've seen yet... My only suggestion (as mentioned previously) would have a photo of a happy woman in the graphics, too (smiling and having fun), to add more meaning to the site name of "digital pleasure".

thanks jim!
Yes. I planed to put a laughing girl/woman into the banner, too.
But I haven't found anything that fits to my imagination.
But I'll repost the final design, when I'm finished.

Black background with white text....Not good. The white will always "bleed" into the background...

Dont forget that the site not only has to look good , it has to be usable and easy for visiters to "scan" through....

I think white on black is very good for reading. I like it better than black on white background.
But where does it bleed into the background?
The text in the screenshot by the way is added with photoshop.
Of course I'll use normal text, which won't merge with the background as it does after rendering in ps.
