Default us1photo.com????

I see that us1photo is listed in the places to buy...whatever, i my case a D300. My question is who has used this site? Its it reliable and good service? Because it has cheaper prices by a bit than B&H and other places, so... Anyone???

Thanks

It wouldn't be my first choice.

That is the standard flag that you are dealing with someone with shady practices. Some outfits get a bit under B&H on some items and are legit, but I have yet to hear of anyone who gets a lot under them and others reputable dealers who isn't dodgy or outright crooked.

From their front page:

US1photo.com prices are determined by the cost of the product when purchased from our distributor. Due to fluctuating wholesale costs from our distributors prices may vary daily. US1Camera offers the lowest current price possible. We cannot offer price protection since our distributors do not offer it to us. There will be no price adjustments given once your order is shipped. This is the only way we can ensure that we give our customers the best price possible.

Sound scammy? Does to me. Prices vary daily? Oh please.

Don Wiss has done his usual thorough job cross checking the company

with 8 aliases.

If you search the US1 website long enough you can find their showroom information. Nice feature is the photoshopped photograph on the website showing the US1 name, while Don's photo of the same address shows the Photomania name.

I guess when you got something to hide, use photoshop.

And it's not even a good photoshop job. Notice that the shadow on the red letters is from a different direction than the shadow on the blue sign.

Good call, btw, StevieDgpt.
