Default Help!! kodak 6340 vs canon a70

I have narrowed my choices.. a70 ...kodak 6340
Less than $300
3+mp 3xoptical
shooting kids/cars/boats/stuff.. at idle
more indoors than out
battery life important
memory type not important

movie with sound 10-30 sec
no special tecnical pictures needed
quality
I like the feel of them both
buying by end of weekl

also need a used camera on another post..
Thanks
JB

tested the Kodak..very impresed.\
Picture quality and color was fantastic and even low light was nice.
Movie mode was better than expected.
The dock was also unbelievably simple and welcomed.
Testing the a70/80 today.
But I must say, the $$$ difference may sway in Kodaks favor!

Did you decide on one yet and why?

decided on the Kodak...based on internal memory and the dock.
Both took very nice pics. Kodak has their colors and canon had theirs...neither was that different from the other to me.

Kodak movie was better than expected as the Canon lived up to its.

Roughly the same $$$ with the dock/kodak.

For me and my general usage, either camera was perfect in MP, quality of pics, and ease of use. actually I liked the toggle/joystick on the Kodak.
Both cameras software was adequate...nothing special.
