Default mirror lockup

i'm sure this question has been asked but, i'm too lazy search. do any of the dslr cameras have mirror lock up?? i really am thinking of purchasing a dslr by summertime and would like to use it for astrophotography. a mirror lockup would be extremely beneficial for sharp astrophotos. i really like the canon 10d but don't see any mention of mirror lock. i may have some canon ef lenses to go with the 10d so that is why i am interested in the 10d. does the nikon d100 have mirror lockup? anyone know if the manufacturers are thinking of this option in the future? thanx in advance!!!

I could be lazy and not answer, to match the mount of effort you wanted to put in. Don't forget, we do this out of our spare time, not because we have to.

Yes, the 10D has mirror lockup. I believe the D100 does as well, long with the Canon 1D, 1Ds, & Nikon D1, d1x, d1h, d2h (I believe). I didn't see it in the Fuji S2 Pro, but I thought it had it.

The Digital Rebel doesn't have mirror lock up.

thanx Eric!!! yeah, i know most of us are on here in spare time. i'm at work so i don't always ahve much time to do anything here. i thought i checked Steve's review of the 10d but, if the info is there i must have missed it. i think i searched for mirror and found nothing on mirror lock. i'll try again and see. thanx again!!!

I knew that mirror lockup was a custom function in the 10D, so I guessed that it was the same in other cameras. I didn't easily find it in Steves's reviews (he doesn't list the custom functions with the "features"), so I went to dpreview and looked there.

Wasn't that bad, once you learned the format of his reviews.

That's the truth!!! I don't know how many times I want to say that when someone says something like what was originally said.

I find both of those speed up my reading: I just skip the whole post so it takes no time at all.

Okay, okay, guys!!!! I did look up and found it has mirror lock. And, as you can all see I used both caps and not caps. Thanx, for the help. I particularly like lower case only.
