Default Lens for beach sunsets

I have 3 lens and was wondering which of them would be best for sunset pictures on a beach. EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens, EF 50mm f/1.8 lens, EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS.

Canon Rebel XTi is the camera.

Thank you

Any one of them could do decent work. As far a focal length goes, anything can work. You have to choose based on what the overall scene is like; what foreground objects are present, how large are any cloud structures, ... .

Technically, flare is very often an issue, always an issue when the sun itself is in the picture. Which ever lens you use, DO NOT use any filter. Remove and "protection filter" you may have on the lens; it would only cause additional flare.
