Is anyone else still having problems with not being notified of replies to your posts?

Ok, I tried a little experiment. I signed up for a new account and then visited a few posts and clicked on "watch this topic." I received notifications for those topics I am watching. I sure would hate to have to use the new account and lose my number of posts stats associated with "PrmseKpr" Plus if I changed to a new account, then I would have to put "AKA PrmseKpr" in my sig file.

I wonder what would happen if we changed something vital in our current accounts, submitted it, then changed it back and submitted again.

Off to try it...

Okay, I changed stuff, submitted, went offline, came back, changed things, resubmitted. If I have to, I'll just open a new account because I'm tired of combing through the posts to find the ones I wanted to watch.

Great minds think alike. I just tried that, but obviously it didn't work because it didn't tell me you replied to my post.

Nor did I receive notification that you'd added to this thread after I did. Now I've tried something else: I deleted all cookies from the forum and started fresh. Do I believe this will help? No, but I want to try all avenues before becoming a new person.

I don't believe that will do it either, because if the cookies were the problem then why does the "new" account work but not the "old" account?
