Default Are we ready for this?

I'm not yet sure what to think of this item. Should I laugh, or just hang up my camera in despair?

Happy snapping, folks. 500 fans after only a couple days.

Nah... That would be too distracting, as you can see from the quality of some of the Orangutan's photos here:

Just get a camera that can compose and shoot by itself:

Then, you can concentrate on preparing and eating the food, without worrying about trying to take photos at the same time. ;-)

My daily newspaper's weekend magazine runs a photographic competition with a week's theme. Quite often I (and others) feel that the published images could not only have been taken by an orangutan, but also that the winners were chosen by one.

Some of my initial thoughts when seeing the article:

"OMG, I didn't know Annie Liebowitz was a redhead!!!"

"If they make one of those cameras that dispenses single malt Scotch, I want one." (and wouldn't my pictures look similar?)

"Damn, her portaits are better than mine."

Now we just need to modify the camera to only dispense a raisin when the picture is properly framed and with no motion blur. Orangutan photography is the future!
