Default How I post a photo to the forum

There are many different ways to post a photo here but this is how I do it most of the time.

1. Open a post dialog box by hitting the new thread button at the top left of the forum page. When the box opens up ...type in a subject in the subject box then type something in the dialog box. I sometimes just type in a number or give a discrption of the photo I'm posting. You have to have something there or it will not allow you to post. Then click on the paper clip to open the manage attachments box. You can also go further down the page to the attach files line and click on the manage attachments button there.

A file upload box will open showing you your computer files. Browse the files to find the folder where you have stored the photo you wish to post.

After you click on the upload button a message telling you the file is being uploaded will appear. Please wait for the file to upload as it may take a few minutes if you have a slow connection.

Congratulations you have just made a photo post to the forum. You can post up to 5 photos at a time by hitting the browse button again after the file is uploaded and before closing the window. Also the manage attachments box will show you the types and sizes of photos allowed for posting. I usually post Jpegs with the largest side no bigger than 1024 and the file size around 230. Hope this helps and ask questions if you need too.
