Default I need help and advise on choosing a digital camera.......

Hi all

Any advice please needed. Apologies if I appear to be asking stupid questions!!!!

I am looking to purchase a digital camera for my father as a christmas present. My father is a beginner so something basic would be ideal.

I have seen an AGFA SX1.3MP and was looking at buying him that - but I wanted to know how it all works. (My father is not very up on modern technology) so I wanted something that was simple and easy to use, also enabling us to print off pictures pretty easily too.

Can you also explain to me how a digital camera works!!!!

Thank you in advance for any replies I may receive.......

if u want to keep it simple maybe even think about the Kodak line of easy share...basically a point and shoot digital camera that then goes directly onto a printer to do 4x6 prints...

just depends on whether or not he can use a computer...nowadays you can buy him any digital camera and take the memory card to your local drugstore and print them there...

look around for better prices but this is an example of an easy printer...the easier you make it for him the more he will use it

Concur with Kodak line. They have a very simple program with the docking station transfer of the pictures. I am not familiar with the HP line but I believe they have a similar docking solution.
