Zoom lens for digital zoom camera???

Can I buy zoom lens? You see I have a Aiptek Camera with 4x digital zoom, I need optical. So I was wondering if I can buy something that I can stick to or hold to the front so I can zoom in. I have seen someone else do it, but I need more info.

Thanks.

Yes, there are auxiliary telephoto and wide angle lenses which should work with your camera. I have seen some which are magnetic, so they will stick on over your existing lens. Try Adorama or B&H Photo, or other camera store. Very likely also available on ebay.

Ok that's cool, but is there specific name you call them? I don't wanna buy something that only works with a Canon DSLR.

Usually called add-on lenses or conversion lenses.
