Default Letter to George

I almost posted this in the "What Camera Should I Buy" section... but this really shouldn't go there. This is more a lighthearted take on the camera-buying/learning process that anyone who spends a lot of time advising photo newbies - or has spent any real length of time in the hobby - is sure to understand and enjoy:

An interesting article. There's a lot behind what he said, its just that not everyone goes down that route to the end - some get off at the first stop, or the second one. When I had a film camera, I had a basic one for over 20 years and was perfectly happy with it (and the two prime lenses that came with it). I added one lens after owning it for around 10 years, but that was all. Let's not talk about the present digital age, as I can't seem to quit buying photo stuff...
