Default white balance

Recently I made some daylight exposures using a digital camera (Sony DSC-F707) with the white balance set for tungsten. As you can imagine, the images have a greenish/blue cast. What is the best method for changing the color balance in these images to daylight; is there a plug-in or filter that will do the job?

What editing program are you using? I think Photoshop has a feature to specify a sample in the image as white and to alter color overall until that becomes white. I use paintshop pro. If I have a series I usually tweak the color by hand then the program remembers the settings when I do subsequent images.
