Default General Question For Wedding Photographers

Hi to all the wedding photogs out there.

I just have a curious question. How do you all deal with couple shots, when the bride and groom is more then 8 inches different in height. Say a bride that is 5'4" with 3 inch heels at 5'7", and a groom that is 6'6".

Hi not done weddings for years now but I have to state the obvious first theres not a lot you can do it is a physical fact. Having said that do nothing the couple know this and they are used to it, just take the pictures as any other wedding.
I have just looked at my own photographs as I am 6-2 and my wife is 5-0 and the guy who did ours did nothing just took the pictures and thet were great. As I said before we are used to being next to each other we dont see the difference.
Hope this helps

I believe Tom Cruise stood on a box for his wedding photos.

Thanks guys,

I was just curious, as some friends wedding photos looked a bit strange, while others seems okay. They uses some high angle shots to mask the height difference a bit.

Think you are right about the tom cruise thing. I have heard that also.

Very interesting. Guess that wouldn't work for the head to toe wedding party photos though.... unless maybe they masked the box with some strategically placed flower pots in front of the wedding party.
