Default Is it worth it, to wait for Black Friday?

Generally I know, that now is a good time to buy the older model, because the newer models just about come or already are out.
How do camera stores handle this one day sale?
Do they usually discount the newer, just released models, the older last year models, accessories like flash and lenses or pretty much everything?
What (if any) can the expected price drop be?

Not set in stone yet, but I'm specifically looking for the kit version of the T1i or T2i, if that matters.

Black Friday is 2.5 months away. If you need the camera now it is not worth waiting. As you will loose 2.5 months of getting uses to the camera, and photo ops.

To shoturtles comment, I will add that I don't recall the prices for dSLRs changing very much on Black Friday, so you may end up waiting for nothing.

To add more, there is very little margin in DSLR's so retailers have very little room to even put them on sale very often, let alone offer a huge BF discount. I wouldn't expect any great deals, so I'd look to purchase now.

In the meantime I bought my 60D and am ecstatically happy with it.
I'm now thinking of buying a zoom lens, something like the 70-200L.
Black Friday is getting closer and I'll wait to see if anything happens with lenses on that day.
Do stores discount other accessories e.g. flash, lenses, batteries, or something I haven't even thought about yet, on this day?

If it attaches to a dSLR, chances are there won't be any 'Black Friday' deals for it.

Want to get a good deal retail wait until after the holidays.
There are plenty of perfectly good used ones available if you know where to look. Not one piece of my current line up of bodies and glass were purchased retail (~$25K). Some accessories yes.

Now, that is good to know.
I'm not in a hurry, I got everything I need to take great pictures.
I can easily wait till January to get my first additional lens/s then.

Thank you for the information.

There are some deals, but more of the older models, not the new stuff to often.
