Default Shooting football for the first time

Just got the confirmation: I'llk be shooting at the Steelers game this Sunday. I've never done anything like this, so if anyone has any suggestions, tips, ways to avoid getting run over, etc, I'd really appreciate it.

Thankfully, I'm using something that's not a dSLR, so I can use the LCD to frame.

What a great experience...I learned that most pros use monopods with a gigantic zoom and a camera around the neck wtih a mid-range zoom.

I didn't get run over, but I did have an amazing amount of fun. It was a great experience and I'd like to thank the one of you who bothered to offer advice.
