Default Error 30 on Canon T2i

So, I've been thinking about my shutter life for a few weeks now.

I've taken well over 300,000 shots, mostly in Time-Lapses.

Now I get an Error 30, and I understand it has to do with my shutter.

So, how do I solve this? The problem is, I need a functioning camera in two weeks as I'm going on a shoot in Switzerland.

Well, the guy of dpreview where you asked this said it: take it to a shop. 300,000 exposures is enough to kill most cameras. Have a guy look at it. I've heard of times (just general dslr fixing, not error 30) when it was just a fuse or something.

I don't think any dslr will last long under that kind of duress. Maybe you should get a p&s for that stuff.

If you are under time pressure, and can't get your camera repaired for the trip, think about renting.

In the dpreview thread, this was mentioned, but he will be gone and using it for a month. I think you have to replace/repair/upgrade. But no matter what I would get a secondary camera for time lapses that you can junk (maybe an xt for cheap on ebay if not a point&shoot)

Does anyone care for an update?

Well, if you read DP so much, I'll post it there instead
