Default Dvh596

Hi,
I'm new to these forums, and would like some help with my - what I believe is a DVH956.

I bought the unit from Maplins back in June 2010, and am basically very happy with its' performance.

OK - so it's not the best in the world at night, or low light, but it does for me.

There is one thing that is slightly annoying me, and that is: the playback once converted appears jerky.

I have the Camera set on 720 & 60fps.

I have read that the image stabiliser will not work unless I use 30fps, but can find no way of changing this.

1. Can someone please tell me how to change to 30fps
2. Will this make the playback less jerky
3. What are the best settings to get smoothest playback if the above is wrong.
4. Does anyone know if an electronic copy of the Instruction manual is available anywhere?

Thanks

Dave

What are you playing back on? If it is on your computer, the problem may be with your graphics card, or the codec the computer uses to render the video. Check with your graphics card web site for updated drivers.

Sorry to have been a while replying - been away.

It plays OK on the Computer, its after I render it that it appears jerky. I use the best possible (and therfore slowest) options.

I want to try and alter the frame rate to 30 fps, and I would like to find an electronic copy of the manual if possible.

Thanks

Dave
