Default Fastpack 250 or Kata DR-466

Hello,

i am getting my first large bag, as i have now 3 lenses and my Pentax k-x.
I want this bag as a general use for my trips, where i would be able to hold the bag continiously all day, and thus have a lot of things in it except camera gear. Also a general purpose bag for weekends.

Now i am between lowepro fastpack 250 and Kata 466 because:

- I like 466 because is stylish and not so that big as others. That is why i dont want 467.
- i dont like the way it opens to get the camera as you have to take it down somwehere.

- I like 250 because of the way it opens to get the camera
- It seems to have better protection that the 466
- However i think it might be a bit too large

I think for all other aspects they are more or less the same.

Any help and advice would be highly appreciated!

Ok thanks. Would you consider it quite large for a backpack? And thus a bit uncomfortable?

one thing that i like about the Kata is it doesnt look like a camera bag, so i fee like it less of a theft target. that is the reason i use mostly Crumpler bags, as they don't look like i am carrying around camera gear either.

I also liked that with the Kata, you can take out the foam insert and it makes for a pretty stylish backpack for when not shooting too.

I have not used that particular Kata, but the other Kata products I have been around have been well made.

The lowepro brand is always a solid choice too.
