Nice captures.
I prefer the arca swiss style dovetail mounts personally, interchangeble across brands and your gear will still lay flat when attached. Tried the manfrotto but dont like the plates and they dont clamp as square and tight. All my gear in this realm is either Really Right Stuff or Wimberley. There are many other manufactureres though of this style of quick release mounts.

Thanks JustinThyme! I felt the same so I ended up using my Markins M10 and mounted the RRS L plate to my camera. I love the L plate!
