Default CF Card

I just got a new Cannon A70 3.2 pixel and want to buy a larger CF card-256mb. I was looking at an Edge brand. Does it matter what brand CF card I put in my new digital camera or are some better than others? Thanks

For the most part the brand or type of card will not be a factor for the camera you are using (Canon A70). Wheter or not they work is more crucial.

High end cards are rated for high speed transfer and these cost quite a bit more than the run-of-the-mill ones you find typically on sale (SanDisk, etc..)

Generally, high end cameras ($800 and above) or rapid shooting in continuous mode at sporting events are usually the only times high transfer speed cards are necessary.

I've never heard of "Edge" brand but then again I don't pretend to know all the brands out there.

I had an Edge card in my Olympus. Never had any problems with it.
