American standards?
The camera I am buying is the Canon Digital rebel. Can I use the AC adapter...doesn't the AC adapter help in current conversion if I have the right plug in the end to fit the wall plug in the country I visit?

Basically I live in Europe but want to buy a camera in the states and use it here in Europe using thier power current.

Many of the adapters will have a voltage rating of 100v to 240v. If your adapter has this on the descripition you can use it in Europe. You may have to buy some adapters for it.
