Default Help with pricing

Can someone tell me where I can find out how much to ask for my camera setup. I will be putting it on Ebay and don't know if I should sell as a group or seperately. I am purchasing the Canon Rebel 300D and have to sell the Fuji. Thanks!

Here is a link to a camera on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=48534

Watch this item and it should give you some idea of how much your cameras worth. Without a smart media card, it will much more difficult to sell the camera. It would be similar to buying a car without any wheels.

Look at the prices on completed auctions:
->search
->advanced search
->check the "Completed Auctions Only" box

If you are looking to sell a camera, list with highest prices first to put things like "Filter for Acme 3Mp camera" items at the bottom.

BillDrew's advice is exactly what I would have given, also! A couple of points that may also be helpful.

1. Pay attention only to those closed auctions that have a winning bidder! Items that closed without receiving a bid or the reserve being met are ones that you don't want to include when searching for a realistic asking price.

2. Consider selling your items separately. It's been my experience that there's more people out there looking for specific items than package deals (after all, isn't a package deal supposed to be just that)? By doing this, I sold all my old SLR equipment for right at $400. I didn't see any comparable package deals that came anywhere close to that.

I don't think I'd buy a new card to sell with your equipment. The first purchase right after buying a NEW camera is a new (larger) card.

IMHO

While I do agree, it would be nice for the buyer to be able to immediately snap a picture off right out of the box.

If it isn't too much trouble for the auctioneer, he/she should look into the cost of a 16mb card. Including one being a matter of courtesy more than anything.

The auctioneer can state that if it's imperative the buyer have a 16mb card, the seller can pick one up for them.
If I were the buyer, I would let the seller know that I don't need it as I already have 2 cards. Though if I didn't, I would really appreciate one being included.

Just a thought.

Aside from this, lg raised some good points.
