Default chimping

I get caught chimping all the time, and I probobly do it to much, habit I guess. Now if I could figure out how to mount my lap top to the back of my camera I would be a chimping Pro!!! ( I'm not telling)

I admit it... I've never heard the term.

I did a quick Google Search, and came up with this:

ok, chimping is simply reveiwing you pictures on the lcd
pros hate seeing people do it, mostly cause when you do it you miss a lot of good shots
i think it is only chiping if you make chimp noises and show all you buddies you pics
go to a place like http://www.sportsshooter.com/funpix_index.html and you'll see some people chimping

it is a made up term

also see
http://www.sportsshooter.com/special...ing/index.html

pesonaly i think it is stupid, but thats just me

I don't actually chimp, really, since the little digital is my only non-Canon-reliable piece of equipment(Nikon) I have to make sure the lcd hasen't suddenly failed. :P

Really, that is the only reason I check it.
